Peer Review
Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Inovasi Terapan Abdimas (JITA) will undergo an initial screening process by the editorial team. This stage includes checking the manuscript's suitability with the journal's focus and scope, compliance with the article template, completeness of metadata, and similarity level.
Manuscripts submitted to JITA must demonstrate originality and have a low similarity level. Manuscripts with a high similarity score, plagiarism indication, or improper citation practices may be returned to the authors for correction or rejected during the initial screening stage.
Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements will be assigned to reviewers with relevant expertise. JITA applies a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential during the review process.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the relevance of the topic, clarity of objectives, appropriateness of methods, quality of discussion, contribution to community service, impact of the activities, adequacy of references, and overall feasibility for publication.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor may make one of the following decisions: accepted, accepted with minor revision, major revision, or rejected. Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to the comments and suggestions provided by the reviewers and editor.
The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the editor after ensuring that the revised manuscript has fulfilled the journal's publication standards. The peer review process is conducted objectively and professionally to maintain the quality of articles published in JITA.
