Publication Ethics
Jurnal Inovasi Terapan Abdimas (JITA) is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, are expected to follow ethical principles to ensure the quality, originality, and credibility of published articles.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must properly cite all sources used in the manuscript and avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of academic misconduct.
Manuscripts submitted to JITA must have a low similarity level and must not contain plagiarism. Any manuscript with a high similarity score, improper citation, or indication of plagiarism may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the editorial team.
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly and objectively based on their academic quality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and contribution to community service. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for personal advantage.
Reviewers are responsible for providing objective, constructive, and timely assessments of manuscripts. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the review process and should notify the editor if they find any ethical issues, similarity concerns, or potential conflicts of interest related to the manuscript.
All parties involved in the publication process must disclose any potential conflict of interest. A conflict of interest may occur when authors, editors, or reviewers have personal, financial, academic, or institutional relationships that could influence the publication process.
If ethical violations are found after publication, the editorial team may take appropriate action, including issuing corrections, clarifications, retractions, or removing the article from publication according to the severity of the violation. These actions are taken to maintain the integrity and credibility of JITA.
